questa(yay, Will finally e-mailed me my photo's from the range XD)
Friday = Went to Pam's birthday party@the Thirsty Duck, stayed for a couple hours and left when everyone else was pretty drunk and the discussion had changed to penis and Rocky Mountain bear fuckers.
Came home and watched part of the first episode of "Legend of the Seeker", its not bad...mostly...but they've changed a lot from the book, taken out really good scenes...none of them seem to be able to act well, they all sound way to modern when they speak...especially Richard.
I can't stand the guy who plays Zedd, there's excessive use of slow motion omg o-o.
But some of the fight scene's are nifty and Kahlan's dress is beautiful XD
I'll watch a couple more episodes and see how it goes.
Saturday = Had to wake up at 10am because I had a troupe mage downtime session, it was fairly slow because I was Taalis and therefore wasn't able to do much of anything.
Didn't get a chance to eat before we left my place so I had a couple cookies and a few chips...
We finished around 6, I felt icky from eating crap but there wasn't any time to get anything since we had to go to Douglas for the first Hunter game.
My costume was simple but nifty, a white tank top, unbuttoned white shirt with the shoulder holster I made over that.
Jeans and black boots.
I looked like an off duty cop XD
Sadly we got right into game and I never got any photos /swt
Next time~!
Game was okay...a little chaotic.
Storyline could have been better....
The ST's made it so pc's couldn't harm other pc's ( we were trapped in a haunted house of weird and any attempt to hurt someone else was stopped some how).
The reason? "LAWLS! Well I knew you'd all try to kill each other and that wouldn't have been good~!!"
Erm...well maybe if the premise had been better that wouldn't have happened and we'd have wanted to work together.
And I was amazed at the "ZOMG you aren't playing your character right" from several people.
First, that's not something you can tell a person.
You have no idea how they made it and what's in their background.
I was getting it for 'not acting how a cop would act' X_x
I asked a couple pc's for their names and had them get annoyed saying "ZOMG cops CANT do that without a warrant or without my lawyer present!!"

Erm yes they can....sure...you don't have to give it but they can arrest you under suspicion.
Then I got "Off duty cops don't carry guns"
WAT? XD
There was also about 5+ pc civilians running around armed.
A couple characters were understandably bitching to my girl to do something about it but I'm sorry...1 cop + a bunch of crazy people with guns? I can't do much.
Amanda's character came up to my girl later and said she'd have no problem shooting her...cop or not.
So about an hour later, she sat down next to me on my right...placed her gun on the table in front of us and put her head in her arms.
I grabbed the gun, emptied the clip and stuck it in my left boot.
She said "I don't care, I have more clips" then lunged for me....she was annoyed that the ST's wouldn't give her the element of surprise but I had been looking right at her and had taken her weapon.
I KNOW she's going to try something.
So she's laying behind my back with one hand grabbing the gun in the boot which I'm still holding on to, I try my gun and aim it at her wrist so I can shoot the arm holding the other gun...I wouldn't be able to shoot anywhere else because I'm sort of pinned.
Daniel's character comes up and aims a cross bow to my head.
Danny's character...a CSI for the Vancouver police department grabs the gun both Amanda and I are also holding.
Kim puts a shotgun to Daniels head.
And Alan tries to kick the crossbow out of his hands.
Hello Mexican standoff.
Anyway, due to the weird effects...even though I fire the bullet doesnt do anything.
We manage to get out of combat and Danny's CSI is the one to grab the gun away.
He complains again that:
- I'm not playing a cop right, that a cop would have never taken a gun away from a civilian in a bad situation.
- That cops would want people to be armed.
- And that a proper cop would deputize people to help out X_x
- A cop wouldn't have shot at Amanda's character because the gun she was trying to grab was empty (erm she had tons of clips still ON her remember? X_x)
- then got annoyed OOC when I said my girl was going to report him to her superiors.
Even the ST's said the reporting him won't matter... because of rule's they've set it won't happen because that would be 'fucking over another pc'
and his pc would 'lose his job' so they won't do that to him. /swt
A bunch of people complained there wasn't anything for them to do once a couple pc's kind of ran off and took control of the game, because of a locked door they weren't able to do anything.
And one of the pc's that was involved always has to be that way no matter what venue.. I can see some were getting pretty sick of that.
Thankfully at the end of game, Jordan asked what our concerns were and promised to work on those before next game.
As it is about 4 characters have no reason to ever return or ever want to speak to any other characters.
I'm the same way, I'd speak and work with Alan's character, Porshe's, Kim's and her bf's but no one else.
After that? Hell no.
So I'm not sure how that's going to work....
Danny was still bitching at me after game, then at Denny's.
The ST's called me over to their table to talk about it and asked how I felt.
I said I don't mind explaining things to some people but I refuse to get bitched at OOC every game for my characters actions or be told how to play her.
They agreed and I went back to the main table to eat, Danny still bitched...
I was like rawr okay if you have a problem let me get the ST for you, so I spoke to Jordan and he asked us both to step outside to talk.
He explained to Danny about how cops act X_x
I said I don't expect him to know every detail of what cops can and can't do....even I don't know that but most of this has been basic knowledge.
Danny flipped out and actually started yelling and swearing X_x
His eyes were even glassy like he was about to cry o-o
I just sat there and let Jordan try and calm him down, after almost an hour /swt we went back inside.
Hopefully it never comes up again but I can see it probably will because Danny still seemed really angry.
Didn't get home until almost 4am....that was the longest Afters in ages o-o

Again, mostly fun although I get very annoyed with one player who the entire time I've known him (3 years now) continues to be nasty to me for no reason.
He does it IC too but I won't say anything because it could be easily explained as "oh that's just his character", but other people have noticed and agreed he always seems to be singling me out.
Of course OOC its explained the same way and always has been "Oh that's just the way *insert name here* is, you just have to accept it."
And then they get grumpy that I'm hurt or angry X_x
I hate confrontation's IC and OOC and it seemed like all weekend I had both so I'm glad it all over :X

You are a lot more self-protective today than anyone realizes. On the surface it appears as if you are fully engaged with the circumstances of your life. People around you may be impressed with your positive attitude and your generous demeanor. Nevertheless, you may be experiencing unexpressed hurt that you cannot shake.
