Thursday: Ran over to see Amy because she wanted me to come try on the costume....HOLY CRAP does it look awesome and fit my body perfectly @_@!
Sadly I doubt I'll be able to afford white thigh high stockings in time and I'm not sure what to do about knickers... X_x

Friday: Got woken up by a workman tearing stuff off the outside of all of the windows.
They are planning on replacing all the windows in November and told us that they will give us a couple days notice before hand because things need to be moved at least 3-5 feet away.
So we were a little surprised when we were told LAST minute that the workdude needed to come in really quick and do something at each window.
This meant I had to pass on going to the huge costume sale downtown with Kelsey and Ian (stuff being sold from tv shows and movies XD!) and instead stay here to help my Mum with switching the cats.

I also had to quickly pull my bed away from my window (thankfully the guy helped me but it still made my shoulder twinge). /swt
Since they'd be coming back in a couple weeks I decided just to rearrange where my bed had been in the first place and I like it a lot better now, I just have a slight space issue until Alan comes this weekend and helps me move my computer desk. :P
For now I have to sit on the end of my bed to type.

I try to give her a pet and she decides to be a brat :P
Making my bed always makes her super silly X_x

Saturday: Met up with Ian to go to A Night for All Souls at Mountain View Cemetery.
I was a little worried because we were in costume and I wasn't sure if people might be annoyed and think we weren't taking it seriously but although we were the only ones dressed up no one seemed to mind. ^_^

I attempted to dress warmer this year, I started with a pair of black tights, black thigh high socks and then black and white stripy stockings.
Also had on a long sleeved body suit and then loli gear over that.
I wasn't taking a coat so I tried to layer as much as possible...

It was great, very quiet and peaceful, nothing like the chaos of down town.

They had candle's you could decorate, pretty things to hang from tree's that you could write messages on and lots of beautiful fresh flowers to choose from and make a bouquet.
So we made a few things and took them out to the alter.

I had a slight wardrobe malfunction and the waist band on my tights decided to die...so I waddled back to the funeral parlour and and went into the wash room to pull them off then changed my mind, walked over to the craft table, asked to borrow the ladies scissors and waddled back to the wash room with her looking at me funny.
I just cut the waistband/arse and crotch out of the things. I was too lazy to pull everything off :P

Anyway, I could have easily stayed for the whole thing but our friends were calling wondering where we were so we left after a bit.

They are doing other things this week and I'd love to go down again but I don't have any money =\.

Got down town around 8? And just walked up to Grandview park.
Saw lots of awesome costumes along the way.

Met up with Kim and got pictures of ourselves ^_^~

Saw Dan and Lorilee briefly ^_^

Very nifty costume, I didn't even realize it was a person until he started moving and freaked people out.

Then Kim went home because she was cold and sore and Ian ran off to go get dinner with Dan and Lorilee.
I managed to meet up with Arnand after a brief mix up ("where are you?" "I'm by the digital shrine" "So am I!" "I don't see you" "Im waving my lightsaber around" "I don't see any light saber!" "How could you miss it?!" lawls...) we realized there were TWO digital shrines :PO

Had lots of cool plans for today, going to check out the last day of that costume sale, then watch Arnand at Academie Duello, then check out Descent but I woke up so bloody sore from yesterday that I had to cancel.
