questaCam Mage downtime scene from last night, it was funny so I edited it a bit to keep for myself ^_^~
Daniel says:
So Emily's climbing up onto the roof, one box under her arm. It's rather clunky to be dragging the whole box up there while climbing out a window and up onto the roof without the use of a ladder (oh ya, remember that ladder in the basement?), and as she's pulling herself up onto the roof her foot slips and she drops the box (pulled an Ace), but manages to catch herself with her free hand (pulled a 10).
Daniel says:
Now she's dangling from the gutter on the roof, the tin slowly bending under her weight and coming away from the roof. There's no foothold where she's hanging.
Emily says:
*uses her voice Bluetooth...and mutters something to herself about stupid ideas*
Emily says:
*loud scream voice* "CALEB HELP IM GONNA FALL @_@"
Caleb says:

10 base - 2 Sym + 3 Willpower = 11 draw 1 Mana for Paradox, has rote, using tools as well

ok, one thing first, you don't know exactly where she is unless you have a Scrying window. So while you can teleport to her, you don't know where you'll land. Jjust a warning before you decide to do that.

Ok, so Caleb winks out of existence from wherever he's at (I'm guessing inside the bookstore), and he pops into a faintly familiar place... only higher... You're above the bookstore next to the backyard garden, one foot on the roof one foot on thin air.

Caleb hops onto the roof fully and regains his balance. The indi hat stays safely secured to his head.

Right below him the gutter is bending and pulling away from the roof under the weight of Emily hanging there by one hand. Below her is a box that's burst open on the ground, scattering across Emily's garden and ruining it. Clear Christmas light strings are all over.
Caleb says:
I drop down onto my stomach and lunge for her arm.
Emily says:
*tries to hang on :X*

You grab hold of the arm hanging on for dear life as the gutter breaks away. For just a brief moment Emily feels like she's going to fall from the break before Caleb catches her. She brings up her other hand and grabs onto Caleb's arm. He lifts her up and over the overhang.
Emily says:

Caleb says:
"Are you OK? Are you hurt?"
Caleb says:
*Holds on tightly to her*

*stays clinged and not wanting to move an inch* "I'm fine thankyouthankyouthankyou@_@"

You get out to the back eventually, and first thing you notice is Emily's garden is ruined. There's a box of Christmas lights that have spilled out all over the garden. Looking up, you see the gutter has broken off and hanging off the side of the building.

"I can't climb down a ladder from this high up @_@"

"Ok Emily, let me get in position, then you climb down right in front of me." Caleb will get onto the ladder, and make a space in front of his body for Emily to climb down in, he's basically only 1 rung below her, making a cage out of his body and arms for her.
