Saturday: I managed to wake myself up at 10:30am to get ready to go down town for the random day out I had set up over Facebook.
Took awhile to drive down there because traffic was horrible but we managed to find good parking (it was close to Dressew and….free XD)

Not a lot of people showed up but that was okay, easier with a small group.
It was me, Alan., Susan, her friend, Ian, Amy and Robert.

We looked around Dressew for a bit and then walked over to see Jenny at her store, Deadly Couture

She asked wtf I was doing there and told me to give her my purse XD (she knows I blame her for me spending too much cash there :P)
I said I had no money anyway so it was fine.

Saw a few things I want, a couple corsets and skirts.
She also made me super happy by letting me know she carries women’s size 11 shoes XDDDD

I had never bothered checking because no one hardly carries that size, I just gave up.
She let me flip through a couple awesome catalogs and also told me she could order in anything I wanted @_@!
So someday when I have money again….I’m running down there to get some epic shoes XD

Had lunch at the Cambie and then Porshe joined us.

We realized we wouldn’t have enough time to get to Butter which was sad but it closes at 5:30 so we were going to have to leave that for another day.

No matter! There’s still Godiva on Robson!

Wandered into a candy story, then towards Godiva so I could get my favourite dark chocolate, raspberry frap!

Walked…and kept walking…next thing I knew we were across the street from Kombynya.

I knew it wasn’t that far up so we stood there all wtf while Alan looked up the address on his phone and my direction sense was questioned.

I KNOW WHERE MY GODIVA IS KTHX PPL! :P

Alan said it was back the way we came and I was like HA! But wondering how the hell I could have walked by the place.

Got to the right spot and why I had walked by was explained….Godiva was GONE @_@!

No note or anything…just an empty shop T_T

Dejected we walked towards Granville so we could go to the comic store, stopped to listen to a dude play the bagpipes…and he is extra awesome because he can do the Star Wars theme XD

After the comic store everyone except Ian and Alan left.
Shafik, Diamond and the kids met up with us to look around Pacific Center Mall.
Dimond and I looked in H&M and swooned over the mass amounts of super cute Hello Kitty clothes (I would have bought some to put away for my own kids someday if I had had the money)

The mall closed at 7 so we had to figure out where to go next.
On the way out I noticed that the mall is getting a Sephora this summer, I grabbed Diamond and pointed out the huge sign and we stood there squealing while the men looked at us all wtf and wondered what Sephora was.

Drove around for ages trying to find parking, eventually parked behind Fat Burger where Diamond wanted to eat while we went to this really awesome new frozen yogurt place on Denman.

Its expensive but omg so good @_@!

The topping are like 89cents each but they have EVERYTHING and its all fresh XD

Alan and I split a chocolate yogurt with raspberries and shredding chocolate XD

On the way home I was still wanting something chocolaty, although the yogurt was good It was very light and I needed something heavier…would have had it if Godiva had not poofed or if we had made it to Butter! :P

So Alan and I were going to stop at the Death by Chocolate near my place because we knew it would still be open, but when we got there it was CLOSED for reno T_T

I was just not meant to have any junk! :P

He bought me a chocolate frap from Starbucks to make up for it which was nifty ^_^~

Got home and set my alarm for 8am, I wanted to go to the Chinese New Year parade downtown but I was so exhausted I had a feeling I wouldn’t be bothering.

Got to sleep pretty late and didn’t sleep well….kept having nightmares so I gave up and woke up about 7:45.

Had a shower and called Alan who decided to come down too….even though it was wet snowing out T_T

after my shower Kelsey called me with "GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE XD"
If she wasn't such a sweetheart I would have strangled her :P

Got down town about 10:30, there wasn’t the huge crowd there usually is by that time but I had a feeling the weather wouldn’t keep people away.
It had stopped snowing but was raining pretty hard.

We walked up to Main and Hastings and met Kelsey in the Wave café.
Hung out inside for a while and around 11:30 I went back outside to stake out my spot.

Kelsey was awesome and pulled out a blanket for me to use and lent me her umbrella, the people next to us lent us another umbrella and a plastic bag that we stuck under half the blanket.

Managed to get the umbrella’s to rest on the yellow rope that was meant to kept people out of the road, so long as someone held on to the one next to me it meant I could hold on to the camera and not have to touch my umbrella.
