Sunday: Had to cancel plans to hang out with Russ because my knees + transit + I had so many photos to edit = bad.
I worked on them all day and later in the evening, Ian was tempting me to come out and get some dinner *hadn't eaten all day...too busy*
He told me to ask Alan too and he came out to pick me up, it was almost 8pm and my Mum would be coming on anyway and I wouldn't be able to edit for a few hours.

I was worried about driving but we went slow and got to White Spot safely.
They had put up a sign just before we got there saying that head office told them to close at 9...it was 8:30.
Ian, Susan and her bf got there soon after and they thankfully let us put an order in to go.

There weren't any seats in the Van so we weren't able to give them rides back but we carried the food so it would stay warm.

Almost got stuck trying to park near there place but got out ok and found a slightly better place.

Hung out there, ate and talked...it was nice ^_^~

There was a mini hill where the passenger side door was so I fell multiple times while trying to help brush the snow from the windows....but didn't hurt myself because I landed in about a foot of snow :P
The ride home was a bit scary...a car almost hit us when it slid down a hill and right through a red light...and not long after that we started sliding a bit...but Alan got us home safely,

Tuesday: We realized there's no way we can have our orphan's Christmas at Ian's...Alan's other car would never make it....so we decided to have it at his new apartment.
Since he had just moved in earlier that day...I went back to his place to help him unpack everything and set things up.

Wednesday (Christmas Eve): We were still getting TONS of snow...and I had to go out to Metrotown.
Needed to meet up with Ian who had the blank scarf I ordered from Lorilee (Because of the snow she wasn't able to meet up with me...so she had Dan drop it off at his place).
I'd just gotten the Batman patch the day before so everything was finally coming together XD
I was so worried I wouldn't get one or the other in time.
Also had to meet with Porshe to give her the pictures on a CD and with Alan to get the CD from him since he helped with the burning.

My brother and Dana got here just as I was running out the door, they thought I was crazy not only to brave the mall on Christmas eve but because of the weather...
There's almost 2 feet of snow on the ground and it was still coming down.

But I had to do so much and pick up a couple last minute things for my Mum.

The walk to the bus stop was hell but it came pretty quick.
Did everything I needed to do and then went to catch the bus back at 3:30.
Alan ended up getting on the bus with me because a train hadn't come through in 30mins.

I'd just missed the last bus but it was packed solid anyway, I was like 4th in a looooooooooooooooong line for the next one.
When it pulled up people just got crazy and they were shoving/pushing/budging into line to get on...oy.

poor Ian left the mall at 5:30 and didn't get home till around 8...I felt so bad T_T.

We do our thing Christmas eve although we usually have dinner on Christmas day...we were doing it today though because Chris and Dana were off to visit her family in Victoria in the morning.
I made it home just in time...managed to wrap my gifts fast just as dinner was ready.
Sadly I couldn't get the Batman patch on the scarf...I don't trust my crappy sewing skills and wouldn't have time anyway...so I attached it with a bit of tape at the back so he could get the idea :P

Dinner was yummy.
Then stockings and gifts were opened ^_^~
I got my Mum a gift card to the salon I go to, jammies and a couple photos of me because she's always complaining she doesn't have one. Alan got her a couple frames to put them in.
Got Dana a DVD and Chris loved his scarf XD
He left it here so my Mum can sew the patch on for him.

I got a mall gift card from him and Dana, and from my Mum I got a super cute Hello Kitty Christmas ornament and some Harajuku Lovers "love" perfume that I'd been wanting ^_^~

Dana also brought over a huge bag of clothes she didn't want or fit any more, I had fun going through it.
Most of it is too big because she's heavier than me but I found a few really nice tops that are just like new.
There's also 2 cute dresses, one just needs to be taken in at the waist and underarms, the other - the same and also about a foot needs to come off the skirt because its too long and shapeless.

I crashed around 9 because I was so tired and sore...I was hoping I'd sleep through the night but my feet hurt so much it finally woke me up.

Looking forward to tomorrow (er later today...), Alan and I did the shopping the other day and then dropped the turkey off here because my Mum offered to cook it for us.
We'll have to slice it up, put it in some containers and take it back on the bus though because he isn't able to drive right now.
I'm going to go back part way with him and I'm going to head over to Ian's to check on Kim's kitties and clean their litter box....then show Ian and Tony the way to Alan's ^_^~
We might even have Marcella join us ^_^~

Being so busy I haven't had a chance to really enjoy the snow and now I'm worried I've missed it.
We are supposed to be getting some rain and although I know it won't melt all of it....I doubt it will be as cool as it has been this week =(
