Nov. 13th, 2008 06:59 pmSaturday morning~!: Had to wake up at SIX AM *dies*
Since Eric said he'd be picking me up at 8...
he asked not to be killed for coming so early so I told him I wouldn't IF I could shoot of a rocket launcher. :P
He said "umm... well I can give you an excuse for your arm to hurt again, but I'll feel bad for doing it."
Meaning I could shoot the big ass rifle that really hurts their shoulders XD
(Of course even if I had been allowed....which I wasn't...he was kidding...I never would have done it because holy crap it would have killed me :X!)
So off to the range we went XD
It was fairly empty when we got there, he lent me large over head ear plugs and some eye protection.
Even paid for my day pass because it was $20 and I'm super broke =\
The main guy working there knew I was new because of how jumpy I was, couldn't help it though...I AM jumpy and hate loud sounds XD
He gave me a set of normal ear plugs to put in underneath the over heads with dulled the sound even more but whenever Eric's big rifle went off I still jumped (it was the loudest thing there o-o)
The range was outdoors with a covered area you stand under so it got kind of chilly.
They guys unpacked the gear and got it set up on 2 spaces, then we had to wait for a cease fire to put out our targets.
They do this every half hour and you change or put up your stuff then go stand back behind a yellow barrier, you aren't allowed near the area where your firearms are and you aren't allowed to touch them at all.
Eric showed me how to load bullets into a clip (although I did not have the strength at all to do it myself...I was able to do one bullet and that's it, hold it properly, keep my finger off the trigger, put the clip in flick off the safety, then aim and shoot ^_^
Watching him fire off a few rounds I almost seriously changed my mind about doing it, guns are a lor more powerful and scary irl :X
I was to try shooting the FN-5.7 first, it only has a tiny bit of kick back but Eric said it wasn't enough to hurt.
The main dude told him to just give me one bullet to start so he popped out the clip, stuck in one and then I got ready :X
I was really freaked out thinking it was going to hurt no matter what, plus just the feel and sound of it going off in my hands seemed scary.
But I managed to do it, without so much as a girly squeak so I was quite proud ^_^~
It did make me jump and it did hurt my hand a tiny bit but nothing major.
He said I did really well for someone who's never shot before XD
I figure this is doubley good especially since I'm half blind and the target was extremely blurry lol.
We had to share a target but with him having good eyesight and with the target not being too far away, he remembered where my bullets hit and where his went.
I GOT A BULLSEYE~!
The muzzle fire from it was a little scary but I never actually noticed it when I was shooting, I must blink at the last second or something.

Cat sitting went fine, it had been awhile since I'd seen them ^_^~
When I showed up after the range I was so cold and sleepy so Niko curled up with me on the couch and we watched tv for awhile.
Marrakesh is a little more used to me but still has permanent @_@ eyes, Jox is silly because he tries so hard to act like he's not scared but he totally is XD
I have to stretch super far usually to try and pet him and once he realizes ZOMG BELLY RUBS?! He's rolling around happy ^_^~

Monday: Went to Arnand's for Shadowrun, got there a bit early and was able to hang out and girly talk with Porshe for a bit ^_^~!
I love my Shadowrun character, I don't think I've ever loved a character so quickly because it usually takes me several games to get a feel for them.
The group we play with is awesome so that helps a lot ^_^~.

Wednesday: Woken up too early due to evil workmen.

Thursday: Had to wake up even earlier because evil workmen with sexy arms were finally coming in to do our windows.
OMG was it ever cold....we managed to switch the cats, stuck Padme in the bathroom with food/water/litterbox and made her a tent bed she could hide in.
We left Taro to hide under my Mum's bed and they did her room super fast so we could just shut here in there.
I had to move my bed again because it was still too close to the window plus they needed more room to drag the windows in here.
I just sat on the computer while they did mine, at one point when the guy was breaking the glass it broke inwards instead of outwards and glass shrapnel shot across my room and a couple pieces landed on my desk next to me o-o
After that I stayed out of here :P
They said for some reason my window had been the hardest to do.
After they left I had to CSI the floors near the windows to pick up glass and metal slivers, then do the same to my bed and Padme's (And yes, I found glass in both beds)
So after a good look over and vacuum, I think I got most of it.
The head difference hasn't been noticeable yet but the sound difference was right away o-o~!
The new window's cut off so much sound from outside, I love it XD
Decided to rearrange my room yet again since the bed had already been moved, I stuck it back almost in its old position just further out from the wall.
Then dragged in the giant cat tree that Ian bought us ages ago, I figured Taro won't miss it because she never uses it anyway.
It look's nifty in here and doesn't take up too much space, plus Padme loves it.
I'll try and get some photo's tomorrow before game.

The weekend's a bit insane, game tomorrow and we'll probably get home late because of Afters.
And I don't want to skip it, I'm going to need it.
Saturday: Up earlier (early for me :P) because its Andrew's birthday party XD
Going to see James Bond although I may have to skip that part and just come for the hang out bits.
Then showing up late to Vampire, then I have a Mage downtime scene to be run at afters which'll probably go late but its hard to get our entire Cabal together plus the ST.
Sunday: up Early again and I get to see John and hang out XD
