*~Masquerade~*
Jul. 14th, 2008 04:51 pmOy…to try and remember details of the past two weeks is going to be hard so for now I'll just make a post about the Masquerade.

I went to House gallery boutique a couple days before and tried on several gowns.
The woman who owns the place brought out a very beautiful blue corset and matching skirt that was on sale, it looked amazing @_@!
She said the colour went better with my eyes than any of the others and said I was lucky because I had a corset body (yay? XD)
I had really wanted a dress with sleeves…after trying on that style the last time I had been in I knew that was what I wanted.
She had me try on a long sleeved dark blue hooded cape…but it was hot and covered up too much.
I was cheaper than sleeves would be but I didn't care and asked her if she could make them up.
Luckily, she had a little bit of the exact same fabric left and said she'd do a rush order on them and I could pick them up the day before the masq ^_^~!
Also got a pretty necklace from there and a matching bag… ^_^!
The skirt/corset set used to be $528 but now it was $264, so that plus the rest came to $512.08 *dies*
I also spent $50 in make-up and saved a bit by wearing my old pretty silver heels…
They didn't match, but the skirt was so long you wouldn't see them anyway.
Alan gave me a pretty corsage ^_^~
I was with him when we went to go pick them out which was nifty, I mentioned that Kim and I would prefer wristlets instead of having to pin anything to expensive corsets and that we wanted something simple and pretty. Not a garden on our arms!
