One of the days James and I decided to head into the back40 to try and find Sarge's gave =(
We came across one of the kittens from our first visit...

Dora

She was adorable and sweet but she kept trying to follow us despite our attempts to get her to go back home, she just ignored it and kept following.... :X We were both worried she might get lost or worse....picked up by a hawk/killed so I scooped her up and carried her.

She stayed perfectly content with me for over an hour....
a few times she crawled up onto my shoulder and stayed like that, then for awhile she sat in my hood o_o

Fubar who we figured must be almost a wild kitty even showed up...we were able to get him inside where he stayed with us for the entire week. Hogging most of the bed :P

Fubar came to visit

Stayed mostly injury free except for one day when Nibbles nommed my foot which hurt like hell and then jumping away from that I slashed my hand open on some barbed wire. I definitely need hiking boots for next time I'm out there (spring) and thicker pants. The thorn bushes stab right through jeans.

Saw some weird white thing moving back and forth one day while off with the dogs, at first I thought it was Scott waving at me in the distance but the movement looked too weird...then the dogs took off and left me alone so I was like um wtf COMEBACKPLEASE@_@!!!! Daisy came back about 5mins later and Charlie not long after that. When I described what I saw to James' Dad he said it was probably a white tailed deer.

Hmm what else....
Hung out with his friends a few times, didn't make it back down to Edmonton as the people we were going to stay with all came down with the flu and we didn't want to risk catching it.

And someone in his family had an emergency come up, it was scary and we were all really worried...so that meant several trips to the hospital to visit and on our last day they got transferred to a bigger hospital in another town....it felt strange to be leaving when someone could die =\

It made the first part of the ride back more nervewraking...we'd call home when we his certain towns to hear news on how surgery went. When we got to Hinton we finally heard surgery went well which was great.
Drove through Jasper again at night....because of a wrong turn we didn't notice it put us 2 hours behind...but the weather was nice and traffic was good.

Made it to Valemont around 11pm and found a really nice little hotel with an amazingly comfy king sized bed, stayed up later then we should have eating cheesecake and um stuff then enjoyed the awesome shower the next day.

The ride back was fairly uneventful, nice weather again, ok traffic (until we hit Langley...) so we made a couple of stops to check the view, go for walks and at one place see a nifty little antique shop...where he bought me a beautiful tiny antique key for my collection ^_^

Getting home was nice, I have 3 of them now :P
And to answer the questions I've been getting...no we aren't 'officially' living together...and by that I mean I havem't moved all of my crap in here yet but that's just because there isn't enough room. I'm mostly here though and we are talking about looking for a place in the new year ^_^
