Saturday: I managed to wake myself up at 10:30am to get ready to go down town for the random day out I had set up over Facebook.
Took awhile to drive down there because traffic was horrible but we managed to find good parking (it was close to Dressew and….free XD)
Not a lot of people showed up but that was okay, easier with a small group.
It was me, Alan., Susan, her friend, Ian, Amy and Robert.
We looked around Dressew for a bit and then walked over to see Jenny at her store, Deadly Couture
She asked wtf I was doing there and told me to give her my purse XD (she knows I blame her for me spending too much cash there :P)
I said I had no money anyway so it was fine.
Saw a few things I want, a couple corsets and skirts.
She also made me super happy by letting me know she carries women’s size 11 shoes XDDDD
I had never bothered checking because no one hardly carries that size, I just gave up.
She let me flip through a couple awesome catalogs and also told me she could order in anything I wanted @_@!
So someday when I have money again….I’m running down there to get some epic shoes XD
Had lunch at the Cambie and then Porshe joined us.
We realized we wouldn’t have enough time to get to Butter which was sad but it closes at 5:30 so we were going to have to leave that for another day.
No matter! There’s still Godiva on Robson!
Wandered into a candy story, then towards Godiva so I could get my favourite dark chocolate, raspberry frap!
Walked…and kept walking…next thing I knew we were across the street from Kombynya.
I knew it wasn’t that far up so we stood there all wtf while Alan looked up the address on his phone and my direction sense was questioned.
I KNOW WHERE MY GODIVA IS KTHX PPL! :P
Alan said it was back the way we came and I was like HA! But wondering how the hell I could have walked by the place.
Got to the right spot and why I had walked by was explained….Godiva was GONE @_@!
No note or anything…just an empty shop T_T
Dejected we walked towards Granville so we could go to the comic store, stopped to listen to a dude play the bagpipes…and he is extra awesome because he can do the Star Wars theme XD
After the comic store everyone except Ian and Alan left.
Shafik, Diamond and the kids met up with us to look around Pacific Center Mall.
Dimond and I looked in H&M and swooned over the mass amounts of super cute Hello Kitty clothes (I would have bought some to put away for my own kids someday if I had had the money)
The mall closed at 7 so we had to figure out where to go next.
On the way out I noticed that the mall is getting a Sephora this summer, I grabbed Diamond and pointed out the huge sign and we stood there squealing while the men looked at us all wtf and wondered what Sephora was.
Drove around for ages trying to find parking, eventually parked behind Fat Burger where Diamond wanted to eat while we went to this really awesome new frozen yogurt place on Denman.
Its expensive but omg so good @_@!
The topping are like 89cents each but they have EVERYTHING and its all fresh XD
Alan and I split a chocolate yogurt with raspberries and shredding chocolate XD
On the way home I was still wanting something chocolaty, although the yogurt was good It was very light and I needed something heavier…would have had it if Godiva had not poofed or if we had made it to Butter! :P
So Alan and I were going to stop at the Death by Chocolate near my place because we knew it would still be open, but when we got there it was CLOSED for reno T_T
I was just not meant to have any junk! :P
He bought me a chocolate frap from Starbucks to make up for it which was nifty ^_^~
Got home and set my alarm for 8am, I wanted to go to the Chinese New Year parade downtown but I was so exhausted I had a feeling I wouldn’t be bothering.
Got to sleep pretty late and didn’t sleep well….kept having nightmares so I gave up and woke up about 7:45.
Had a shower and called Alan who decided to come down too….even though it was wet snowing out T_T
after my shower Kelsey called me with "GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE XD"
If she wasn't such a sweetheart I would have strangled her :P
Got down town about 10:30, there wasn’t the huge crowd there usually is by that time but I had a feeling the weather wouldn’t keep people away.
It had stopped snowing but was raining pretty hard.
We walked up to Main and Hastings and met Kelsey in the Wave café.
Hung out inside for a while and around 11:30 I went back outside to stake out my spot.
Kelsey was awesome and pulled out a blanket for me to use and lent me her umbrella, the people next to us lent us another umbrella and a plastic bag that we stuck under half the blanket.
Managed to get the umbrella’s to rest on the yellow rope that was meant to kept people out of the road, so long as someone held on to the one next to me it meant I could hold on to the camera and not have to touch my umbrella.
Ian says: It's like night and day. XD

Just before it started Kelsey went back inside the café with Kim, MCS, Jackie and Pam.
They had a great spot to watch from the window.
Alan took Kelsey’s spot and held the other umbrella for me, sadly because there was no plastic under his side he got soaked as soon as he sat down.
My legs got soaked right away but I had thigh high socks on and knee high boots so I didn’t notice too much.
Managed to get some good photos but mon dieu....I HATE photographers~!
If you are with some kind of newspaper then fine I get it...you have to run around getting your shot but it was like EVERYONE with a freaking digital camera running out into the parade taking pictures.
The bastards would follow people so no matter what their asses were in my way.
And a few of them stood RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!.
It was like omg feck you buddy~! I've been out here freezing and cold for over an HOUR! >_<
Assholes....
One of our local CTV newscasters, she was the first person to actually bend down under my little umbrella house, say hello and give me a Lai See ^_^~

About an hour in thiswhorebag “photographer” chick came and stood right in front of Alan and I.
He tried yelling excuse me but she either ignored him or didn't hear; I was about ready to put my foot in her ass...
She farking stood there for a while too.
Alan got up after a while because he was soaked and sore, thankfully he stayed around and held my house in place.
Every so often the black umbrella would tilt forward and get in the way of a shot, or tons of water would pour off it onto my legs :P
I was soaked by this point too, from the waist down and the back of my coat, I was also frozen and sore…my knee’s were especially not happy.
Didn’t care though, I wanted to get pictures :P
I was trying to spot the group Arnand and the other Ian were in, it wasn’t until close to the end that I finally saw Ian but couldn’t get a decent shot of him.
I asked later where Arnand was, thinking maybe he was in a lion and that’s why I didn’t see him.
But he said no, that he’d been carrying a flag the whole time.
So I went through my photos of their group, zoomed in to the flag people and there he was. The flag was just blocking his face :P
I stumbled up after that; I was too cold, sore and wet to take any more shots so we went back inside the café to warm up.
The parade ended about 5mins after we’d gotten up so thankfully I didn’t miss too much.
Decided against getting lunch with everyone, I’m not much of a fan of Asian food.
Alan and I checked out the super crowded mall and looked at the cheap stuff for sale then went home.
I came in, stripped and went to bed even though it was only 3pm.
Monday: Got a headache almost exactly when I walked out the door to Daniels car to head to Shadowrun, when we got to Arnand’s I contemplated calling for a ride home.
Showed him the gingerbread I’d baked and brought and got an odd comment…
“You baked gingerbread for Stefan?”
me – X_x “No, I baked for everyone”
I was going to ask what the heck he meant when he got distracted so I went and asked Porshe wtf was up.
“Oh, they asked me last week if you had a crush on Stefan”
me – “Who asked?”
her – “All of them”
me – *facepalm* “What did you say?”
her – “I told them yes”
me - *still facepalming* “omg you did what? What the heck did they say?”
backstory insert – Yes I have a crush on him, along with 2 other people and she knows that.
She also knows that these crushes are just that, a crush.
I think Stefan is cute and another couple I know, but I would never date them X_x
Age difference (too young) and not my type, they are just eye candy XD
I wish she had explained this but apparently not.
Porshe – “Stefan said, I hope she knows I’m not interested. I don’t want to lead her on”
Me – *headdesk*
So at least now I understood Armand’s comment and I wasn’t pleased.
Good to know I was being made fun of.
Game was pretty boring, sometimes its okay but mostly it seems like its just Jo, Stefan and Ian.
A couple times they’d ask me a question and then not even listen to the answer so what was the point X_x
And I asked Arnand a couple things but getting his attention when it’s focused on the other 3 is kind of impossible.
Daniel looked bored too.
Boring game combined with a massive headache, I seriously considered again calling for a ride home.
But with the earlier conversation they’d probably take is as, omg she’s hurt because of what Stefan said and left. /swt
So I stuck it out and just played around on my cell phone, I’ll go next week and see how game is…if it’s the same then I’ll probably drop it.
I have a lot of games I’m involved in already and several more starting up.
